- Farmer’s Markets
There are two great farmer’s markets nearby:
The Bayview farmer’s market is at Bayview on Saturday mornings. They have a wide array of booths featuring local artists and farm goods.
The Tilth farmer’s market is a few miles further north on Hwy 525 and Thompson Road and also takes place on Saturday mornings.

- Shopping
Langley has numerous art galleries and interesting shops. Freeland and Bayview are also close by places to do a little shopping. A bit longer drive will take you to Coupeville and Oak Harbor up north.

- Fishing
If you brought your gear, we have a Livingston Dinghy out back that you can use to row out into the bay and try your luck fishing for salmon or bottom fish if the season is open. We generally have a fishing regulations guide in the cottage.
- Fly Fishing
Goss Lake, Lone Lake, and Deer Lake are well known fly fishing lakes. Whidbey beaches are also well known for Sea run cutthroat trout fishing. Multiple guide services operate on the island if you'd like a guide.
- Bike Riding
